Anne Gilson LaLonde is the author of Gilson on Trademarks, published by LexisNexis.


Anne has been working on the ten-volume treatise in various capacities for nineteen years, and took over authorship from her father, Jerome Gilson, on January 1, 2006.  


After graduating cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Philosophy, Anne graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Law, where she served as Book Review Editor for the Michigan Law Review.  She practiced at Sidley & Austin in Washington, D.C. in the firm's Litigation Practice Group before her judicial clerkship with Chief Judge Norma Holloway Johnson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.


Anne has participated in National Novel Writing Month for ten years (2018 was her eleventh!), makes fused glass art, and lives in Vermont with her family.
